How endophytic actinobacteria respond to pharmaceuticals present in soil.
How endophytic actinobacteria respond to pharmaceuticals present in soil?
Abstract:
Through the continuous input of antibiotics into the environment by recycling waste from wastewater treatment plants as biosolids, antibiotics start to disseminate in soil, which can lead to the spread of antibiotic resistance in resident microbes. This thesis studies the effects of different soil amendments on the frequency of antibiotic resistance in endophytes present in Phaseolus vulgaris.Abstract:
