Physiotherapy in a patient with Dupuytren contracture

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci byla zpracována kazuistika pacienta po operaci Dupuytrenovy kontraktury na levé ruce. Na základě vstupního kineziologického rozboru byl navrhnut krátkodobý fyzioterapeutický plán. Proběhlo celkem čtrnáct terapií, při kterých byly použity různé metody a pomůcky, a dvoje kontrolní měření. Zpočátku byla terapie zaměřena hlavně na elevaci ruky a kryoterapii. Později jsem provedla míčkovou facilitaci, masáž ruky, lehké cvičení, poté při dalších terapiích jsem vždy uvolnila měkké tkáně, mobilizovala klouby ruky, provedla jsem také centraci ramene, postfacilitační strečink (PFS) a cviky z konceptu PNF = proprioceptivní neuromuskulární facilitace. Navíc jsem využila efektu tapingu, thera-bandu, baněk a pomůcek jako válec či overball. Na závěr jsem porovnala výsledky měření, zhodnotila efekt terapií a poučila pacienta, jak předejít recidivě Dupuytrenovy nemoci.

Abstract:

In the bachelor thesis I dealed with a case report of a patient after surgical treatment of the Dupuytren's contracture on the left hand. A physiotherapeutic plan was designed based on the results of the initial kinesiological analysis. During fourteen therapies it was used various methods, and two controlling measures were made. In the beginning, we aimed at the elevation of the hand, and cryotherapy. Later, I did the foam ball facilitation, massage of the hand, and simple exercises, later I did treatment of the soft tissues, mobilizations, centration of the shoulder joint or post-facilitation stretching (PFS), and exercises from the concept PNF = proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. In addition I used for example the effect of the taping, thera-band, cupping, and aids like roller or overball. In conclusion, I compared the results of the measures, evaluated the effect of the therapies, and taught the patient how to avoid the relapse of the Dupuytren's disease.
