Control and Management System of a Railway Station

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem softwarů pro programovatelné automaty Systému kontroly a řízení pro železniční stanici Vsetín. V teoretické části je vypracována literární rešerše týkající se problematiky programovatelných automatů, systémů SCADA a komunikačního protokolu IEC 60870-5-104, kterým je komunikace s nadřazeným systémem stanice realizována. Dále je věnována pozornost porovnání realizace ovládání osvětlení železničních stanic v minulosti a současnosti. Praktická část zahrnuje popis původního a současného stavu rekonstruované železniční stanice, použitých zařízení a také vyvinutých programů pro programovatelné automaty. Nakonec je popsáno rozhraní pro místní ovládací panel a následné zhodnocení výsledků otestování na reálné stavbě.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the design of software for programmable logic controllers of the Control and management system for the Vsetín railway station. In the theoretical part, a literature review is prepared regarding the issue of programmable logic controllers, SCADA systems and the IEC 60870-5-104 communication protocol, which is used to communicate with the station's superior system. Attention is also paid to the comparison of lighting control implementation of railway statitons in the past and the present. The practical part includes a description of the original and current state of the reconstructed railway station, the equipment used and also the developed programs for programmable logic controllers. Finally, the interface for the local control panel and the subsequent evaluation of the test results on a real construction site are described.
