Filling lines in beverage industry

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce na téma: „Plnící linky v nápojovém průmyslu“ pojednává o procesech souvisejících s balením piva. Klade si za cíl porovnat minipivovary s rozdílnou úrovní vybavení, stanovit náklady na jednotku balení a navrhnout řešení pro jejich optimalizaci. Do experimentu se zapojily minipivovary Kvasar a Vorkloster. Nejnákladovějšími identifikovanými položkami byly: lahve, plnění, režie, mytí/etiketování. Pivovaru Kvasar byla doporučena alespoň částečná automatizace plnění z důvodu velkého objemu produkce. Vorkloster, který automatickou plničkou disponuje, stejně jako u jiných zařízení, dostatečně nevyužívá jejich kapacity, proto je plnění výrazně dražší než u plničky manuální. Doporučit lze navýšit objem výroby lahvového sortimentu (např. o 300 %) a zvýšit podíl použitých lahví. Závěry práce budou předány spolupracujícím podnikům.

Abstract:

This thesis on the topic: "Filling lines in the beverage industry" discusses processes related to beer packaging. It aims to compare craft breweries with different levels of equipment, determine the costs per unit of beer packaging and propose solutions for their optimization. The Kvasar and Vorkloster are craft breweries who participated in the experiment. The most cost-intensive items were: bottles, filling, overheads, washing/labelling. At least partial automation of filling due to the large volume of production was recommended to Kvasar. Vorkloster, which has already an automatic filling machine, as with other equipment, does not make sufficient use of their capacity, therefore filling is significantly more expensive than in case of manual filling. It is recommended to increase the volume of production of the bottle assortment (e.g. by 300%) and to increase the share of used bottles. The conclusions of the thesis will be passed on to the cooperating enterprises.
