Teaching assistants’ self-view: The perception of the profession and of the prospects of remaining in it

Anotácia:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá vnímáním profese asistentů pedagoga na prvním stupni základních škol. Cílem bakalářské práce je představit vnímání povolání asistentek pedagoga jejich očima. V teoretické části se práce zabývá základními informacemi o asistentech pedagoga a pojetím asistenta pedagoga jako povolání. Empirická část se skládá ze dvou částí. Tou první je metodologie výzkumu, druhá část se poté zabývá výsledky výzkumného šetření. Výzkumná část této práce byla provedena pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s osmi asistentkami pedagoga.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the job perception of primary school teaching assistants. The goal of the thesis is to present the job perception of the assistants through their own eyes. The theoretical part of the thesis is concerned with the basic information about teaching assistants and about the conception of a teaching assistant as a profession. The empirical part consists of two other parts. The first one is a research methodology, the second one deals with the results of the research investigation. The research part of this thesis was conducted with semi-structured interviews with eight teaching assistants.
