Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá charakteristikou lipidů a mastnými kyselinami - jejich strukturou, názvoslovím, vlastnostmi, syntézou a také metodikou jejich stanovení v lidské plazmě. Podrobně jsou rozebrány nasycené mastné kyseliny a zkoumán jejich vliv na lidské zdraví. This thesis deals with the characterization of lipids and fatty acids - their structure, nomenclature, properties, synthesis and methodology of their determination in human plasma. Saturated fatty acids are discussed in detail and studied their effect on human health.
