Abstract:
Hlavním tématem magisterské diplomové práce je prokázání kontroverzních aspektů jedné z nejdůležitějších tradic australského národa, kterou je Anzac Legend a s ní spojený státní svátek zvaný ANZAC Day. Celonárodní platnost a patriotický záměr se střetává s problematickými okolnostmi vzniku a udržováním této legendy.Abstract:
The main topic of the Master´s Diploma Thesis is a demonstration of controversial aspects of one of the most important Australian national traditions, that is the Anzac Legend and the related national holiday called the ANZAC Day. Whole-nation validity and patriotic focus collides with problematic background of the legend’s creation and maintenance.
