Position of China in the world economy

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce v první kapitole popisuje historii světového hospodářství, potom i historii samostatné Číny. Předkládá vývoj hospodářství světa v jednotlivých významných obdobích historie a porovnává samostatný vývoj Číny v těchto obdobích. Ve druhé kapitole se zaměřuje na geografii světového hospodářství, tedy rozmístěním ekonomických aktivit jako je obyvatelstvo, zemědělství, průmysl, doprava a služby. Současně s teoretickým výkladem je Čína zakomponována do této problematiky a je prezentována jako součást geografie světového hospodářství. Jednotlivé aktivity jsou podrobněji rozebrány a vše je řešeno s pomocí grafů a tabulek. V závěru práce podrobně zkoumá faktory, které napomohly Číně k jejímu hospodářskému růstu. Za hlavní faktory považuji zavedení reforem v osmdesátých letech, které výrazně napomohly k ekonomickému rozvoji a příliv zahraničních investic do státu. Významným faktorem je také přechod k tržnímu hospodářství a otevírání se světu. Dále pak vstup do Světové obchodní organizace v roce 2001. Práci uzavírá nástin možného budoucího vývoje Číny.

Abstract:

This thesis describes in first capitol history of the world economy, then the history of the independent China. Presents the development of world economy in the major periods of history and compares the independent development of China during these periods. The second chapter focuses on the geography of the world economy, namely the deployment of economic activities such as population, agriculture, industry, transport and services. At the same time with the theoretical interpretation China is embedded into this issue and is presented as part of the geography of the world economy. Individual activities are discussed in more detail and everything is solved with the help of graphs and tables. At the end of my work examines the factors that have helped China to its economic growth. The main factors I consider the introduction of reforms in the eighties, which has greatly to economic development and foreign investments into the state. An important factor is the transition to a market economy and opening to the world and entry into the World Trade Organization in 2001. The analysis concludes with an outline of possible future developments in China.
