Psychological connections between concept of hardiness and SOC

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem psychické odolnosti. Konkrétně konstruktem sense of coherence autora Aarona Antonovského a hardiness autorky S. Kobasové. Práce se skládá z části teoretické a praktické. První část se zabývá psychickou odolností z teoretického hlediska. Autorka zde hovoří o tématech copingu, resilience, Sense of coherence a Hardiness (nezdolnost). Dále práce také zahrnuje téma psychické odolnosti a jejich průvodních charakteristik, způsobů zdokonalování odolnosti. Rešerše v teoretické části se opírá o zahraniční i české monografie a akademické články poslední doby. Druhá část práce se skládá z realizovaného empirického kvantitativního výzkumu, ve kterém jsou prověřována data ze souboru respondentů (N=104). U všech respondentů byly měřeny konkrétní proměnné dle uvedených metod ve vztahu k psychické odolnosti. Cílem je zjistit vnitřní konzistenci diskutovaných konceptů a vzájemný vztah proměnných. Byla použita testová baterie skládající se z dotazníku SOC-29 (dotazník zkoumající úroveň Sense of coherence) a H PVS (dotazník, zjišťující úroveň psychické nezdolnosti) a vybrané otázky DŽS (Dotazník životní spokojenosti), zachycují subjektivní názor na životní spokojenost skládající se ze tří složek - zdraví, štěstí a spokojenost, psychická vyrovnanost. Výsledky potvrdily závěry výzkumů diskutovaných autorů o vnitřní konzistenci dotazníku hardiness a SOC. Neprokázaly pozitivní vztah mezi proměnnými SOC a hardiness a subjektivní životní spokojeností.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of psychological resistance. In particular, the design of the sense of coherence of author Aaron Antonovsky and the hardiness of author S. Kobasa and col. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The first part deals with the topic of psychological resistance, namely the development of the SOC construct and Hardiness. Further, the thesis also includes the topic of psychology of health in relation to psychological resistance to health and life satisfaction. The second part of the thesis consists of an empirical quantitative research, in which the data from the group (N = 104) of the respondents will be examined, measuring specific variables in relation to psychological resistance. The aim is to determine the internal consistency of concepts and the relationship of variables. A test battery consisting of the SOC-29, H PVS questionnaire, and selected DZS questions captured a subjective view of life satisfaction consisting of three components - health, happiness and satisfaction, psychic balance. The results confirmed the research of the internal consistency of hardiness and did not prove the positive relationship between the variables and the subjective life satisfaction.
