The term "Mafia" belongs to Las Vegas the same as Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel belongs to The Fabulous Flamingo. The aim of the thesis is to summarize the historical events and infamous characters of Las Vegas between the arrival of Anthony Cornero to Las Vegas and the actions caused in the city by Howard Hughes.
