Aesthetic Concept of Surrealism in Work of André Breton and Karel Teige
Abstract:
Náplní této práce je seznámit čtenáře s teoretickou prací André Bretona při utváření avantgardního hnutí surrealismu a s tím, jak toto hnutí definoval Karel Teige, vůdčí český teoretik. Dozvíme se, co to surrealismu byl, jaké měl náležitosti, jak se vyvíjel a jak byl v jednotlivých teoriích pojímán.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with theoretical work of André Breton in creating the avant-garde movement of surrealism, and how this movement was defined by Karel Teige, a theoretical leader in the Czech lands. We will learn what surrealism was, what requisites it had, how it developed and how it was approached in particular theories.
