Anotace: Dizertační práce se zabývá problematikou afektové teorie v barokní hudbě z hlediska vytváření významů v hudbě. Sleduje vývoj této teorie, její pronikání do hudby vokální i instrumentální, tehdejší hudební teoretiky i filozofy podporující afektovou teorii a rozebírá vztah hudby a rétoriky, který byl v období baroka v hudbě upevněn. Annotation: The doctoral thesis deals with the problems of the doctrine of affections in baroque music in connection with meaning in music. The work depicts the development of this doctrine, its penetration into vocal and instrumental music, baroque music theoreticians and philosophers developing this theory and the relationship between music and rhetoric in general.
