Political system of Bosnia and Herzegovina after 1995

Abstract:

Tato práce analyzuje politický systém Bosny a Hercegoviny po roce 1995 a poválečnou situaci v zemi. Práce se věnuje i historickému kontextu Bosny a Hercegoviny a válce, která na jejím území proběhla v 90. letech. Daytonská mírová dohoda je pro Bosnu a Hercegovinu klíčový dokument, jelikož obsahuje Ústavu. Text se zabývá rolí mezinárodního společenství, které je v zemi reprezentováno především Úřadem Vysokého představitele. V práci je zhodnoceno praktické fungování politického systému.

Abstract:

This work analyzes the political system of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1995 and post-war situation in the country. Work is also devoted to the historical context of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the war that took place on its territory in the nineties. The Dayton Peace Agreement is key document for Bosnia and Herzegovina, because it contains the constitution. The text also deals with the role of the international community that is primarily represented by the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The practical functioning of the political system is evaluated in this work.
