The readiness of kindergarden teachers for education children with diagnosis of epilepsy

Abstract:

Smyslem mojí bakalářské práce je seznámit čtenáře s problematikou epilepsie, zaměřenou především na mateřské školy a informovanosti pedagogů o epilepsii, o edukaci dětí nemocných epilepsií. Nemoc se odráží na psychice dětí a s tím souvisí vztahy mezi vrstevníky, rodiči apod. Teoretická část obsahuje dvě kapitoly. První kapitola se věnuje epilepsii, charakteristice, historii, dělení, léčbě, poznatkům o epilepsii. V druhé teoretické kapitole seznámím čtenáře s dítětem předškolního věku a to především s poznávacími a citovými procesy, dále s edukací, adaptací na prostředí jako je rodina, vrstevníci, mateřská škola. Po teoretické části následuje část praktická. V praktické části je prezentována analýza připravenosti pedagogů v mateřské škole k edukaci dětí s diagnózou epilepsie.

Abstract:

The sense of my bachelor's thesis is to acquaint the reader with the problematics of epilepsy, focused mostly on day-care centers and awareness of pedagogues about epilepsy and the education of children with such diagnosis. This disease affects the children's psyche and it is thus related to their relationships with schoolmates, parents etc... The theoretical part includes two chapters. The first is about epilepsy, its characteristics, history, division, treatment and findings. In the second chapter the reader will be acquainted with a child of preschool age, its cognitive and emotional processes, then with education, adaptation on the environment like family, scchoolmates, day-care center. After the theoretical part comes the practical one. In the practical part is presented an analysis of readiness of pedagogues in day-care centers for the education of children with epilepsy.
