Deployment of the Windows Server 2016 in the environment of an elementary school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o modelu nasazení produktu Microsoft Windows Server 2016 pro potřeby základní školy. Cílem je navrhnout fyzickou, logickou a virtualizační infrastrukturu počítačové sítě. První část práce uvádí čtenáře do problematiky prostředí základní školy a seznamuje jej s technologickým pozadím Windows Serveru. V části praktické se práce zabývá reálným nasazením navržené infrastruktury do prostředí konkrétní základní školy. Probírá se zde návrh celé sítě, konfigurace síťových prvků a instalace softwarových systémů. V neposlední řadě práce nastiňuje také možný budoucí rozvoj celé infrastruktury.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with an implementation of the Microsoft Windows Server 2016 product for elementary school enviroment. The aim of this thesis is to design a physical, logical and virtual infrastructure of the computer network. The first part of the thesis introduces the problematics of elementary school environment and describes technological background of the Windows Server. The practical part of the thesis focuses on a real implementation of designed infrastructure into the specific elementary school environment. The design of the network, configuration of the network devices and installation of the software systems are discussed in this part too. Last but not least subject of this bachelor's thesis is thinking about the posible ways of and infrastructure development in the future.
