The influence of the Organisational Culture on the Motivation of the members of Non-profit Organisation

Abstract:

Cílem této magisterské diplomové práce je odpovědět na základní výzkumnou otázku, zda ovlivňuje organizační kultura motivaci členů neziskové organizace. Tato práce je zaměřena na porozumění pojmu motivace a organizační kultura v kontextu neziskového sektoru. Tyto poznatky jsou aplikovány při zkoumání konkrétní neziskové studentské organizace v rámci dotazníkového šetření mezi současnými a bývalými členy. Teoretická část obsahuje náhled na témata organizační kultura, motivace a jejich propojení s neziskovým sektorem. Pro zjišťování byla zvolena kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, založená na technice sběru dat pomocí dotazníků s uzavřenými škálovými, i otevřenými otázkami. V závěru je identifikován vliv organizační kultury na motivaci, včetně klíčových prvků organizační kultury. Práce obsahuje také stručná doporučení pro členy organizace, na která se mohou zaměřit v rámci práce s organizační kulturou jako prostředkem motivace.

Abstract:

The goal of this diploma thesis is to find an answer if there is the influence of the organisational culture participating on the motivation of members of the non-for-profit student organisation. This thesis is basically focused on understanding of the theoretical concepts as it’s motivation and organisational culture together with non-profit sector and motivation to work in this field. The thesis contains also categorisation of parts of organisational culture which are part of the analytical part where are found and identified factors that are influencing motivation through organisational culture. For analysis, there has been chosen the qualitative kind of research that is focused on understanding. Data was collected by questionnaires with open and closed questions. The closing contains identified factors that are influencing the motivation of members of non-for-profit organisation with smalls tips how to work with it.
