Production difficulties of the company Klaus Timber, a.s. from the economists point of view

Abstract:

Bakalářské práce se zabývá výrobními problémy podniku KLAUS Timber a. s. z ekonomického hlediska. Je členěna do sedmi kapitol včetně závěru. V úvodu byly charakterizovány výrobní činnosti a výrobní procesy v podniku. V další části byla nejprve charakterizovaná firma a následně pro vyhodnocení její situace bylo použito několika analýz, konkrétně šlo o analýzu okolí podniku, ve kterém se nachází a o analýzu konkurenceschopnosti. Poté následovaly výpočty ukazatelů finanční analýzy, které se týkaly posledních tří let 2008, 2009 a 2010. Veškeré výsledky finanční analýzy byly shrnuty do přehledných tabulek a znázorněny na grafech. Na závěr je situace zhodnocena a je předložen návrh na zlepšení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the production problems of the company KLAUS Timber a.s. from an economic perspective. The study is divided into seven chapters including conclusion. In the introduction there were characterized production activities and production processes of the company. In the next chapter there was a characterization of the company as whole and consequentially an analysis was used to make a comprehensive evaluation of its situation. Particularly there was an evaluation of the company environment, competitiveness of the company, then calculation of financial indicators pertaining to years 2008, 2009 and 2010 follow. All the results of the financial analysis were summarized to tables and depicted on graphes. Finally, conclusion of the study was drawn with a suggestion for improvements.
