Ústředním tématem práce je adaptační proces seniorů při přechodu do pečovatelského zařízení. Hlavním cílem práce je prozkoumat, jaké faktory ovlivňují seniorův odchod do pečovatelského zařízení. V tematické části popisujeme základní pojmy související s problematikou stárnutí a změny, ke kterým během stárnutí dochází. Postihujeme také pojem kvalita života ve vztahu k potřebám seniorů.
