The regulation of obscenity in media

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá regulací obscénnosti v médiích. Jejím cílem je deskriptivní vymezení regulace obscénnosti v českém právně-mediálním prostředí se zaměřením na televizní média, kinematografii a reality show a následné stanovení základních rozdílů v posuzování obscénního materiálu v České republice a Spojených státech amerických. Cílem práce není určení, zda je nutné obsah médií regulovat či nikoliv.

Abstract:

This Bachelor Thesis deals with regulation of obscenity in media. The aim is descriptive definition of obscenity in Czech media-law environment focused on television media, cinematography and reality show, followed by designation of basic differences between obscenity material consideration in the Czech Republic and United States of America. Evaluation of the necessity to regulate a content in media is not the purpose of this work.
