Transport of dangerous goods by aircraft

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá leteckou nákladní dopravou se zaměřením na oblast přepravy nebezpečného zboží. Podává základní informace s cílem uvést čtenáře do problematiky. Objasnuje leteckou přepravu a definuje pojem nebezpečného zboží. Cílem práce je analyzovat současnou situaci v oblasti přepravy nebezpečného zboží a na základě analýzy navrhnout projekt, který zefektivní zkoumaný typ přepravy. Analýza byla provedena ve společnosti Roth Cargo. Výsledkem práce je návrh na zlepšení vstupní kontroly nebezpečných věcí podaných k přepravě.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the aircraft cargo transport of dangerous goods. The thesis summarizes basic information with the aim to introducing the problematics to the reader. It clarifies aircraft transport and defines the concept of dangerous goods. The purpose of the thesis is to analyse the current state in the field of dangerous goods transportation. Based on the analysis should be proposed the project increasing the efficiency of the analysed transport process. Analysis has been made in the Roth Cargo company. Finally, the result of this thesis is introduced - the proposal of an entry control which can help to improve the effectivity of the initial classification of transported goods.
