Forensic medicine and its use in clarifying suspected deaths

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je věnována problematice soudního lékařství a popisuje skutečný příklad vraždy dospělé ženy. Cílem práce je ukázat konkrétní událost trestného činu a popsat metody a úkony kriminalistů a soudního lékaře. Teoretická část obsahuje vysvětlení základních pojmů, souvisejících se zkoumanou problematikou, včetně smrti, různých kategorií smrti, thanalogie a forenzní traumatologie. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována jednotlivým postupům soudního lékařství při podezřelých úmrtích. Praktická část obsahuje popis skutečného případu vraždy s poznámkami autorky práce. Tato část práce obsahuje detailní popis postupu práce kriminalistů a soudního lékaře včetně prohlídky mrtvého těla, tipování pachatele, výslechu podezřelých osob a způsobu ukončení případu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of forensic medicine and describes a real example of the murder of an adult woman. The aim of the thesis is to show a specific event of a crime and to describe the methods and actions of forensic scientists and doctor. The theoretical part contains an explanation of basic concepts related to the researched issues, including death, various categories of death, thanalogy and forensic traumatology. The special attention is paid to individual procedures of the forensic medicine in case of suspected deaths. The practical part contains a description of the actual case of murder with notes by the author of the thesis. This part of the thesis contains a detailed description of the procedure of criminal investigators and forensic physicians, including the examination of the corpse, guessing of the perpetrator, the interrogation of suspects and a way to close the case.
