Motivation and solutions of European integration after World War II.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá motivací a východisky evropské integrace po druhé světové válce. Jsou diskutovány historické, politické a ekonomické souvislosti evropského integračního procesu. Rovněž jsou uvedeny dva základní myšlenkové přístupy k regionální integraci, a to přístup mezivládní a nadnárodní, jakož i teoretická pojetí ekonomická a politologická. Přímé příčiny integračního procesu jsou dále zasazeny do širších souvislostí v podobě důsledků druhé světové války, změny v úloze státu a rozvoje vědy a techniky. Poslední část je věnována prvním integračním seskupením formujícím se v druhé polovině 20. století.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s work deals with the Motivation and Starting Points of European Integration after the World War II. There are discussed the historic, political and economic consequences of European integration process. There are also stated two basic ideas approaches to the regional integration, and so the intergovernmental and supranational paradigm, such as the theoretic economic approach and the approach of political science. The direct causations are put into the context of the results of the World War II., changes in the role of the state and the development of science and technology. The last part of the work pays attention to the first integration groupings formatting in the second half of 20th century.
