Influence of heat accumulation on laser micromachining

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem tepelné akumulace při procesu laserového mikroobrábění na rychlost/efektivitu obrábění a výslednou drsnost obrobené drážky. V práci je změřena tepelná akumulace jako napěťový signál pomocí rychlého infračerveného měřicího systému a je převedena na teplotu pomocí kalibrace. Při nízkých skenovacích rychlostech dochází k natavení, zdrsnění a degradaci materiálu díky vysoké tepelné akumulaci. Při vysokých rychlostech dochází k jemnému obrábění bez nepříznivého ovlivnění tepelnou akumulací. Pro nízkou energii v pulzu je nejefektivnější odběr materiálu a nejstabilnější teplota povrchu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of heat accumulation in the process of laser micromachining on the speed/efficiency of machining and the resulting of the roughness of machined groove. In this work, heat accumulation is measured as a voltage signal using a fast infrared measuring system and it is converted to temperature by calibration. At low scanning speeds, the material melts, roughens and degrades due to high heat accumulation. At high scanning speeds, fine machining takes place without being adversely affected by heat accumulation. For low pulsed energy, material removal is the most efficient and surface temperature is the most stable.
