Teploty celosvetovo stúpajú a planéta sa zohrieva. Tento efetk je do veľkej miery spôsobený antropogénnymi emissiami skleníkových plynov. Najväčším zdrojom emisií sú energetické systémy, ktoré spaľujú fosílne palivá. Palivom, ktoré vypúšťa najväčšie množstvo skleníkových plynov, je uhlie. The global temperature is rising, and the planet is warming. This effect is to a large extent caused by anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG). The largest sources of these emissions are energy systems burning fossil fuels. The fossil fuels which emits the most GHG is coal.
