Psychical processes factors related to officials personality and his/her and application in practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zkoumá faktory psychických procesů ve vztahu k osobnosti rozhodčího a jeho uplatnění v praxi. Cílem práce je zkoumat, zjistit a popsat, jak se rozhodčí připravují po psychické stránce na utkání, jak se cítí před utkáním a jak po něm. Dále v práci zjišťuji, jaká je úroveň osobní odolnosti psychické stránky u rozhodčích a v jakém procentu se hodnoty liší oproti běžné populaci. K odpovědím na otázky v práci využívám hned několik strategií, komparativní, kde srovnávám skupinu rozhodčích a skupinu běžných osob, dále strategii popisnou a kvantitativní, konkrétně dotazníkovou metodu. Vzorkem pro výzkum jsou rozhodčí z řad profesionálních i neprofesionálních soutěží fotbalu. Závěrem z mého výzkumu vyplývá, že výsledná úroveň osobní odolnosti psychické stránky rozhodčích se řadí do pásma průměru a od běžné populace se tak významně neliší. Výzkum ukazuje, že rozhodčí se před zápasem nějak zvlášť po psychické stránce nepřipravují. Někteří mají své rituály na odbourání stresu, ale jedná se jen o procentuálně malou část rozhodčích. Z výzkumu taky vyplynulo, že rozhodčích ocení, pokud se psychická příprava zařadí do vzdělávacích seminářů. Výsledky práce mohou být použity fotbalovou asociací k rozšíření jimi pravidelně pořádaných seminářů pro rozhodčího o psychickou přípravu rozhodčích na jednotlivá utkání.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis examines the factors of psychological processes in relation to the referee's personality and its application in practice. The aim of the thesis is to investigate, find out and describe how the referees prepare psychologically for the match, how they feel before and after the match. Furthermore, in my work, I find out what is the level of personal resilience of the psychological side of referees and in what percentage the values differ compared to the general population. To answer the questions in my work, I use several strategies, comparative, where I compare a group of judges and a group of ordinary people, as well as a descriptive and quantitative strategy, namely the questionnaire method. The sample for the research is referees from professional and non-professional football competitions. In conclusion, it follows from my research that the final level of personal resilience of the psychological side of referees is in the average range and thus does not differ significantly from the general population. Research shows that referees do not prepare themselves in any special way before a match. Some have their rituals to relieve stress, but this is only a small percentage of judges. The research also showed that referees will appreciate if psychological preparation is included in educational ones. The results of the work can be used by the football association to expand their regularly organized seminars for referees to include the psychological preparation of referees for individual matches.
