Abstract:

Úvod: Tématem bakalářské práce je problematika neplodnosti a asistované reprodukce. Neplodnost je definována jako neschopnost otěhotnět po dobu alespoň jednoho roku při pravidelném nechráněném pohlavním styku, jak uvádí Řežábek (2018). Asistovanou reprodukcí se rozumí léčebné postupy, které manipulují s lidskými gametami a embryi za účelem otěhotnění (Dubová a Zikán 2019). Konkrétní příčiny neplodnosti, metody a postupy asistované reprodukce jsou rozebírány níže v teoretické části práce. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část neboli na teoretická východiska a samotné průzkumné šetření. Cíl: Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit znalosti mužů a žen o problematice neplodnosti a metodách asistované reprodukce. Dále byly stanoveny dílčí cíle, ve kterých mě zajímalo například zda souvisí informovanost respondentů s jejich nejvyšším dosaženým vzděláním, zda vědí, po jaké době vyhledat odbornou pomoc, anebo zda by darovali své pohlavní buňky v rámci pomoci jinému páru. Metodika: V praktické části bakalářské práce jsme se zabývali zpracováním a analýzou dat z dotazníkového šetření. Jako metoda průzkumného šetření byl zvolen nestandardizovaný dotazník vlastní konstrukce, který byl zcela anonymní. Do dotazníkového šetření byly zahrnuty otázky týkající se obecně problematiky neplodnosti, ale také konkrétní otázky na daný problém respondenta. Otázky zahrnuty v dotazníku byly uzavřené, respondenti tedy volili z uvedených možností. Zkoumaným souborem byli ženy i muži, kteří navštívili kliniku asistované reprodukce CUBE v Praze a souhlasili s vyplněním dotazníku. Průzkumné šetření probíhalo od 26.1. do 31.3. 2021 a celkem se zúčastnilo 94 respondentů, konkrétně 54 žen a 40 mužů. Výsledky: Analýza dat probíhala formou popisné statistiky. Díky tomuto průzkumu jsme si ověřili, že většina respondentů je poměrně dobře informována o dané problematice. Z výsledků také vyplývá, že většina respondentů je středoškolsky či vysokoškolsky vzdělaná. Některé odpovědi z průzkumného šetření mě překvapili, jako např. že většina dotázaných by nedarovala pohlavní buňky jinému páru. Závěr: Domnívám se, že neplodnost je obecně velmi probírané téma a vzhledem k rozvoji medicíny tak i s ní spojené metody asistované reprodukce. Myslím si, že v dnešní době již není téma neplodnost tabu a že poměrná většina lidí mají o této problematice již nějaké mínění. Přesto si myslím, že by každý jedinec měl pečovat o své zdraví a již v raném věku přemýšlet nad tím, co by v budoucnu mohlo ovlivnit jeho plodnost.

Abstract:

Introduction: The topic of my bachelor thesis is called "The issue of the infertility and assisted reproduction". The infertility is defined as the inability to conceive for at least one year during a regular unprotected sexual intercourse, as stated by Řežábek (2018). Assisted reproduction is understood as the medical procedures that manipulate with human gametes and embryos for the purpose of pregnancy (Dubová and Zikán 2019). Specific causes of infertility, methods and procedures of assisted reproduction are discussed below, in the theoretical part of the work. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part, or into theoretical solutions and the survey itself. Goal: The main goal of my bachelor thesis was to find out the familiarity of men and women about the aformentioned issue. Furthermore, partial goals were set, in which I was interested, whether the respondents' awareness is related to their highest educational attainment, whether they know after what time to seek out a specialist, or whether they would donate their gametes to help another couple. Methodology: In the practical part of the bachelor's thesis, we dealt with the processing and the analysis of data from a questionnaire survey. A non-standardized questionnaire with my own structure, which was completely anonymous, was chosen as the method of the survey. The questionnaire survey included questions related to the issue of infertility in general, but also there were included specific questions about the problem of the respondent. The questions included in the questionnaire were closed and as a result, the respondents chose from the above mentioned options. The research group included both, women and men who visited the CUBE, the clinic of the assisted reproduction in Prague, and who agreed with filling in the questionnaire. The survey was under way from 26th January to 31st March 2021 and overall 94 respondents participated, specifically 54 women and 40 men. Results: The data analysis was under way in the form of descriptive statistics. Thanks to this survey, we verified that most of the respondents are rather well-informed about the issue. The results also show us that most respondents have a secondary education or the university education. Some answers from the research survey surprised me. One of the most surprising answer for me, was that most respondents would not donate gametes to another couple. Conclusion: I believe that infertility is a generally discussed topic and considering the development of medicine, we can say that the associated methods of assisted reproduction would be a discussed topic too. I think that nowadays, the topic of infertility is no longer taboo and the vast majority of people already has some opinion on this issue. Nevertheless, I think that every individual should take care of their health and at their early age they should think about what could affect their fertility in the future.
