The influence of subsidy programs on the economic return of important engineering equipment

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je zjištění ekonomické návratnosti investice do malé vodní turbíny. Posuzování ekonomické návratnosti zohledňuje investici jak s využitím dotačních programů, tak bez nich. Ekonomická návratnost je hodnocena na příkladu průměrné spotřeby elektrické energie české domácnosti. Hodnocení je provedeno porovnáním cen elektrické energie v předválečném období a dle aktuálních cen elektrické energie. V teoretické části je věnována pozornost problematice cen elektrické energie v České republice, historickému vývoji a predikci do budoucna. Dále jsou zde popsány náležitosti dotačních programů a problematika výpočtu ekonomické návratnosti investice. Praktická část je zaměřena na představení turbín, jejich využití a vhodnost instalace do vodních toků v závislosti na jejím výkonu výroby elektrické energie. Cílem práce je specifikace vhodného zákazníka na základě konkrétních potřeb spotřeby elektrické energie a zjištění ekonomické návratnosti vložené investice. V závěru práce je vyhodnocení ekonomické návratnosti investice do turbíny, provedené na základě porovnání aktuálních cen elektrické energie s cenami elektrické energie z předválečného období. Dále je zohledněna investice s využitím dotačního programu a bez něj.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is to determine the economic return on investment in a small water turbine. The economic return assessment takes into account the investment with and without the use of subsidy programs. The economic return is evaluated using the example of average electricity consumption of a Czech household. The assessment is made by comparing electricity prices in the pre-war period and according to current electricity prices. In the theoretical part attention is paid to the problem of electricity prices in the Czech Republic, historical development and prediction for the future. It also describes the details of subsidy programmes and the problem of calculating the economic return on investment. The practical part is focused on the introduction of turbines and their use and suitability of installation in watercourses depending on its power generation capacity. The aim of the work is the specification of a suitable customer, based on the specific needs of electricity consumption. Determination of the economic return on the investment made. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the economic return on investment of the turbine. This is done, by comparing in current electricity prices with electricity prices of the pre-war period. Furthermore, the investment with and without the use of the subsidy program is taken into account.
