Nonverbal communication - proxemics of E. T. Hall

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se primárně soustředí na proxemickou teorii E. T. Halla a pozdější aplikaci této teorie v psychologických výzkumech. Cílem této práce bylo vymezení proxemiky v rámci neverbální komunikace a srovnání díla E. T. Halla a pozdějších autorů. Teoretické část se proto soustředí na odlišnosti v díle E. T. Halla a sociálních psychologů. V praktické části je zhodnocena využitelnost proxemické teorie E. T. Halla v praxi na skupině dětí, v rámci letního dětského tábora.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is primarily focused on proxemic theories by E. T. Hall and later applications of this theory in the psychological research. The aim of this thesis is to define proxemics within the nonverbal comunication and compare work by E. T. Hall with contemporary researchers. Therefore, in the theoretical part is concentrated on the differences between the anthropological work of E. T. Hall and work of social psychologists. In the practical part is evaluated the aplicabillity of the theory of proxemic by E. T. Hall on a group of children on the children's summer camp.
