Analysis of household property insurance on the Czech insurance market

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje pojištění majetku obyvatelstva na českém pojistném trhu. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř základních částí. Nejprve se zabývá historií, poté konkrétním popisem pojištění staveb a domácností, dále popisem analyzovaných pojišťoven a na závěr zhodnocením jejich nabídky. Vysvětluje, o čem který druh pojištění pojednává a sleduje vývoj pojištění majetku v čase. Cílem práce je utřídit a zaktualizovat si znalosti v oblasti neživotního pojištění, představit základní nabídku pojistných produktů některých pojišťoven, které v České republice působí a na příkladu fiktivní domácnosti porovnat pojišťovny dle jejich nabídky a souvisejících služeb. Přínosem práce je seznámení se s informacemi, na které by uživatelé měli brát ohled při sjednávání tohoto typu pojištění.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis analyzes the property insurance of the population on the Czech insurance market. The thesis is divided into four fundamental parts. First, it deals with the history, then with a specific description of construction and household insurance, then with a description of the analyzed insurance companies and finally with an evaluation of their offer. It explains what type of insurance it deals with and monitors the development of property insurance over time. The aim of the thesis is to classify and update knowledge in the field of non-life insurance, to present the fundamental offer of insurance products of some insurance companies operating in the Czech Republic and to compare insurance companies according to their offer and related services on the example of a fictitious household. The benefit of the thesis is to get acquainted with the information that users should take into account when negotiating this type of insurance.
