The analysis of the process of selecting an e-recruitment application

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje procesu výběru personálního náborového informačního systému jako důležitého nástroje při zabezpečování lidských zdrojů v organizaci. Cílem práce je analyzovat tento proces a zachytit jeho komplexnost. Formou případové studie jsou analyzovány kroky, kterými společnost při výběru informačního systému prochází. Identifikována jsou také úskalí procesu a měkká kritéria výběru jako přidružená součást funkcionalit systému. Na dlouhodobějším projektu ve společnosti Mark2 Corporation je ilustrována detailní analýza potřeb náborového oddělení. V jejím rámci jsou také analyzovány vybrané náborové aplikace, včetně jejich vývoje během 2 let. Kontextem je vývoj trhu práce v České republice, který vytváří stále větší tlak na náborová oddělení.

Abstract:

This master’s thesis deals with the analysis of the process of selecting an e-recruitment application as an important tool for the HR recruitment department in the organizations. The goal of this thesis is to analyse this process and describe it in its complexity. The steps in the selection process are described within the case study. Some possible difficulties are also identified, as well as some soft criteria that are part of the evaluation process alongside a system’s functionalities. A detailed analysis of the needs of an HR recruitment department was performed on a long-term project at Mark2 Corporation. It also includes a research into several recruitment applications and examines their development over the course of 2 years. Context is given by the development of the Czech labour market, which is continuously creating increasing pressure on HR recruiters.
