Activation of Seniors in Day Care

Abstract:

Název diplomové práce: Aktivizace seniorů v pečovatelské službě Počet slov: 23 107 Tématem diplomové práce je aktivizace seniorů v pečovatelské službě. Tato práce se snaží upozornit na problematiku aktivizace seniorů v rámci poskytování pečovatelské služby a zároveň na možný rozdílný přístup vedoucích pracovníků a pracovníků v přímé péči k této problematice. Jejím cílem je zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky, která zní: „Existují ve vybrané organizaci pečovatelské služby rozdíly v přístupu k aktivizaci seniorů u vedoucích pracovníků a pracovníků v přímé péči?“ Text práce je rozčleněn do tří hlavních částí. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením hlavních pojmů – stáří, potřeby, aktivizace, pečovatelská služba, vedoucí pracovníci, pracovníci v přímé péči apod. Metodologická část se zabývá zdůvodněním volby výzkumné strategie, objasňuje operacionalizaci dílčích výzkumných otázek, výběr technik sběru dat, jednotky zkoumání a jednotky zjišťování. Popisuje průběh výzkumu. V analytické části jsou prezentována data zjištěná výzkumem a zodpovězeny dílčí výzkumné otázky. Na základě zjištěných skutečností je v závěru zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka.

Title: Activation of Seniors in Day Care Number of words: 23 107 The topic of thesis is activation of seniors in day care. This thesis tries to call attention to problems of activation of seniors in day care and at the same time to possible different approach by managers and direct care workers. The aim of this thesis is to answer the main research question which sounds: „Does in the chosen Day Care organization exist differences in the approach to activation of seniors between managers and direct care workers?“ The text of this thesis is divided into three main units. The theoretical part deals with determination of main notions – old age, needs, activation, day care, managers, direct care workers etc. The methodological part deals with resons for the choice of the research strategy, brings out operationalization of partial research questions, techniques of data collecting, a group of investigation and survey. It illustrates the organization of the research. In the analytical part, there are data from investigation presented and also partial research questions answered. On the basis of the processed findings the main research question is answered in the conclusion.
