ICT and their benefits for project management

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi využití informačních a komunikačních technologií při řízení projektů a je tvořena třemi částmi. V první části je představena problematika řízení projektů a jeho činnosti. Druhá část se zabývá informačními a komunikačními technologiemi, nejrůznějšími hardwarovými a softwarovými nástroji, které je možné využít při řízení projektů nebo při jeho podpoře v rámci podniku. Třetí část je zaměřena na reálný podnik a popíší se využívané informační technologie uvnitř podniku na základě získaných informací. Následně se představí vlastní návrhy na zlepšení současného stavu z hlediska využívání informačních technologií.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of using information and communication technologies in project management and consists of three main parts. The first part introduces the problematics of project management and its activities. The second part deals with information and communication technologies, different hardware and software tools, that can be used in project management or in its support within the company. The last part is focused on describing a real company and its current uses of information technologies based on the information obtained. Subsequently, suggestions for improving the current state will be presented.
