Effectiveness of massage of scar after surgery in patients outcomes of total knee replacement.

Abstract:

This experimental clinic study is aimed to analyse the importance of the treatment of post-chirurgic scars, in the case of total knee prosthesis, associated with active, active-assisted and passive kinesitherapy, which embrace exercise of reinforcement and articular recovery. My interest comes from one of my last internship, where most of the effort was focused on the importance of massaging the scars, to get a good post-operatory recover in case of total knee prosthesis. The aim of the study is t demonstrate the real efficiency of massaging the scar during the articular recovery of flexed-extension of the knee, in the case of total knee prosthesis.

Abstract:

Questo studio clinico sperimentale si pone come obiettivo di approfondire l'importanza del trattamento delle cicatrici post-chirurgiche, in esiti di protesi totali di ginocchio, associato alla kinesiterapia attiva, attivo-assistita e passiva, che comprende esercizi di rinforzo e di recupero articolare. Il mio interesse nasce da una delle ultime esperienze di tirocinio, dove veniva attribuita importanza al massaggio della cicatrice, per giungere a un buon recupero post-operatorio, in pazienti in esiti di protesi totale di ginocchio.
