Municipal waste fee in municipalities of the South Bohemian Region

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce je zkoumání problematiky poplatku za komunální odpad, jehož legislativa prošla v roce 2020 (s účinností od 1. ledna 2021) změnou. Tímto poplatkem se zabývám v obcích Jihočeského kraje. Hlavním cílem je zhodnotit rozdíly ve využití poplatku za komunální odpad v rámci vybraného vzorku obcí v roce 2022 a určit, zda nová legislativa způsobila změny v jejich chování. K dosažení cíle byly použity metody literární rešerše a komparace dat. Zpracováním této práce bylo zjištěno, že sledované obce na změnu legislativy reagovaly, ale nedošlo k téměř žádnému rozdílu v jejich chování.

Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the examination of the issue of the municipal waste fee, the legislation of which has been changed in 2020 (with effect from 1 January 2021). I deal with this fee in the municipalities of the South Bohemia Region. The main aim of the thesis is to assess the differences in the use of the municipal waste fee within a sample of municipalities in 2022 and to determine whether the new legislation has caused changes in their behaviour. To achieve the objective, literature search and data comparison methods were used. The findings of this paper were that the municipalities studied responded to the change in legislation, but there was almost no difference in their behaviour.
