Software to Support the Creation of the FAS Annual Report

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce řeší podporu automatizace procesu tvorby dokumentu vý- roční zprávy Fakulty Aplikovaných Věd Západočeské univerzity v Plzni pomocí softwarového řešení, které se skládá z analýzy a zpracování zdrojových dat a jejich reprezentace ve výstupním dokumentu. Z velké části má nahradit rutinní úlohy procesu tvorby dokumentu výroční zprávy, který byl doposud prováděn ručně, tak aby byl proces co nejjednodušší, dokázal zpracovat co nejširší množinu dostupných vstupních dat a zároveň byl uživatelsky co nejpřívětivější. Tento dokument popisuje problém dosavadní tvorby dokumentu výroční zprávy, jeho bližší analýzu, návrh jeho řešení, implementaci navrženého řešení a zhodno- cení dosažených výsledků včetně dokumentace práce se softwarem, který je součástí řešení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the support of automation of the process of creating the annual report document of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen by means of a software solution, which consists of the analysis and processing of source data and their representation in the output docu- ment and which is to largely replace the routine tasks of the process of creating the annual report document, which has so far been carried out manually, so that the process is as simple as possible, able to process the widest possible set of available input data and at the same time be as user-friendly as possible. This document describes the problem of the production of the annual report document to date, its detailed analysis, the proposed solution, the implementation of the proposed solution and an evaluation of the results achieved, including docu- mentation of the work with the software included in the solution.
