Abstract:
Kolistin je polymyxinové antibiotikum používané v dnešní době jako antibiotikum „poslední volby“ při léčbě infekcí vyvolaných multirezistentními gramnegativními bakteriemi. V roce 2015 byla objevena plazmidově vázaná rezistence ke kolistinu kódovaná geny mcr. Colistin is a polymyxin antibiotic currently used as a last resort antibiotic for treatment of infections caused by multidrug resistant gram-negative bacteria. In 2015, plasmid borne resistance to colistin was discovered.
