Abstract:

Disertační práce Auersperská doména Nasavrky: příspěvek k formování lesní správy velkostatku v 19. století se zabývá vývojem jednoho odvětví knížecí hospodářské správy, lesní správou. Práce sleduje adaptaci majitelů velkostatku a jejich zaměstnanců na modernizující se a profesionalizující se obor lesnictví. V praxi se modernizace projevila několika vnitřními restrukturalizacemi, které ve svém důsledku přispěly k jednodušší a přímější správě lesních majetků a daly prostor odborně vzdělaným lesníkům. Ti na svěřené lesy aplikovali své znalosti a nejmodernější postupy odpovídající aktuálním trendům v oboru. Práce je nejen příspěvkem k historii lesů, ale především příspěvkem ke studiu šlechty v 19. století. Na pozadí provedeného výzkumu se ukázalo, že v rámci správy panství, resp. velkostatku, členové mladší linie knížecí rodiny Auersperg prokázali schopnost reagovat na podmínky nové doby, a své podnikání přizpůsobili tak, aby bylo umožněno zavádět inovace, a nabídli co nejlepší a nejvýhodnější pracovní podmínky svým zaměstnancům.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis The Auersperg's Domain of Nasavrky: to the Formation of Forest Administration of the Estate in the 19th Century deals with the development of one of the branches of the princely administration, with the forest administration. The thesis is focusing on the adaptation of owners of the estate and their employees on the modernizing and professionalizing field of forestry. In practice, the process of modernization presented oneself in inside restructuring, which resulted in easier and more direct administration of forests and also enabled educated foresters to employ their knowledge and methods according to new trends. The thesis is a contribution to the forest history, but also to history of aristocracy in the 19th century. On the ground of the research it emerge that members of the princely family of Auersperg were able to react on the new age with the adaptation of their business so as to make innovations possible and to offer the best possible and the most advantageous conditions for their employees.
