Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is one of the most debilitating and treatment-resistant conditions faced by clinical psychologists. Contemporary evidence suggests that BPD-specific psychotherapy outperforms usual or control treatments in reducing BPD severity in persons affected by BPD.
