The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the consequences of economic policy on the British economy depending on whether the cabinet was conservative or labour. First, I acquaint reader with the individual governments in the United Kingdom in the period of 1960-2020, where I present the most important economic facts including problems and reforms.
