Analysis of the economic crisis in Belarus

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dopadem celosvětové hospodářské krize roku 2008 na ekonomiku Běloruska. Cílem této práce je popis a analýza příčin a důsledků krize v ekonomice Běloruska, které se zformovaly v průběhu světové finanční krize. Současně je předložena hypotéza, že vlastní překonání krize není možné bez podstatných strukturálních změn v běloruské ekonomice. Práce se skládá ze třech kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřena na historické aspekty a osobností vývoje Běloruské republiky počínající od poválečného období a až do roku 2008, ve kterém vypukla krize. Druhá kapitola je zaměřená na samotnou analýzu probíhající v Bělorusku krize let 2008-2011, která byla rozdělená na tři nejvýznamnější kanály vývoje a prohlubování krize v běloruské ekonomice. V poslední kapitole jsou popsané důsledky krize a současné problémy ekonomiky z ní vyplývající.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis analysis the impact of the World financial crisis of the year 2008 on Belarusian economy. The aim of this work is to describe and analyze the purposes and impact of the crisis on Belarusian economy that were formed during the world financial crisis. At the same time were proposed a hypothesis that overcoming crisis is impossible without structural changes in Belarusian economy. This bachelor thesis consists of three parts. The first part describes the historical aspects of developing Belarusian economy starting from the post-war time and to the year 2008, when the crisis has started. The second part provides the analysis of the economic crisis in Belarus in 2008-2011, which had three main channels of impact on the economic situation in the country. The last part is devoted to the consequences of the crises and the problems of Belarusian economy which were caused by them.
