Transnational corporations in the USA, their influence on american and world economy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o transnacionálních korporacích v USA. První kapitola je věnována především obecné charakteristice nadnárodních společností ve světě, pohybu kapitálu, hlavně ve formě přímých zahraničních investic a současným trendům v dané sféře. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na historický aspekt vývoje TNK jednak ve světě, a jednak bezprostředně ve Spojených státech. Poslední kapitola analyzuje současnou situaci, postavení amerických nadnárodních podniků ve světě a jejich vliv na ekonomiky jednotlivých zemí a také na domácí ekonomiku. V závěru jsou shrnuty zjištěné skutečnosti s výhledem do budoucnosti.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the transnational corporations in the USA. The first chapter is devoted to the general characteristics of multinational corporations in the world, the capital flows, mainly in the form of foreign direct investment and the current trends in this sphere. The second chapter is focused on the historical aspect of the development of the transnational companies in the world as well as in the United States. The last chapter analyzes the current situation, the position of the US based multinational companies in the world and their impact on the economies of individual countries and the domestic american economy. In conclusion all the sections are summarized with the outlook to the future.
