Characteristics of tourism in the Republic of Argentina

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with tourism related especially to natural and cultural riches of Argentina. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, we introduce Argentina in terms of natural and cultural curiosities, divided into touristic regions. In the practical part, first we focus on the current situation of the international tourism of this country compared to other South American countries. We also compare foreign and domestic tourists according to their prevailing motivation, based on which they visit this country, and then according to their target destination and activities done there. In the last part we deal with cultural and natural tourism in individual regions.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá cestovním ruchem spojeným především s přírodním a kulturním bohatstvím Argentiny. Práci rozdělujeme na dvě části: teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části představujeme Argentinu z hlediska přírodních a kulturních zajímavostí, rozdělenou na turistické regiony. V praktické části se nejprve zaměřujeme na aktuální situaci mezinárodního cestovního ruchu této země v porovnání k ostatním zemím Jižní Ameriky. Taktéž srovnáváme zahraniční a domácí turisty podle jejich převažující motivace, na základě které navštěvují tuto zemi, dále podle jejich cílové destinace a realizovaných aktivit. V poslední části se zabýváme kulturním a přírodním turismem v jednotlivých regionech.
