Cross-border cooperation of enterprises in the Saxon-Czech borderland and its public support

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the cross-border cooperation of enterprises in the Saxon-Czech borderland. The focus of this work lies on the motives and barriers of cooperation and also on the public support, particularly the aid programs of the European Union and institutions supporting the Saxon-Czech cross-border cooperation. The emphasis is also put on the socioeconomic situation in Saxony and Northern Bohemia and reciprocal business relations of these two border regions.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá přeshraniční spoluprácí podniků v česko-saském pohraničí. Ve středu zájmu stojí motivy a překážky spolupráce a také veřejná podpora, především podpůrné programy Evropské unie a instituce podporující česko-saskou přeshraniční spolupráci. Pozornost je věnována také socioekonomické situaci v Sasku a severních Čechách a vzájemným obchodním vztahům těchto příhraničních regionů.
