Strategy of the age management in the organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématemage managementu na organizační úrovni. Jedná se o případovou studii, která si klade za cíl prozkoumat, jakým způsobem je v organizaci realizována strategie age managementu. Popisuje, jaká opatření age managementu organizace uplatňuje v praxi, jakou filozofií se při realizaci a rozvíjení strategie age managementu řídí a co tato opatření organizaci přináší a co přináší samotným zaměstnancům, kterých se tato opatření týkají nejvíce. Cílem je prozkoumatdané téma co nejhlouběji v rámci jedné organizace. V teoretické části práce se věnuji čtyřem hlavním tématům. V prvním popisuji demografická východiska age managementu, v druhém se věnuji již definicím age managementu a jeho důležitosti. Třetí kapitola přináší informace o strategiích age managementu, opatřeních age managementu a také příkladech dobré praxe z prostředí ČR, ale také ze zahraničí. V poslední kapitole teoretické práce se věnuji situaci na trhu práce a také tomu, jaké charakteristiky bývají jednotlivým generacím na pracovním trhu nejčastěji přisuzovány. V empirické části práce překládám popis metodologického postupu výzkumného šetření a seznamuji čtenáře s jeho konkrétními výsledky. Snažila jsem se zjistit, jakým způsobem je v organizaci realizována strategie age managementu, co přináší opatření age managementu zaměstnancům a v neposlední řadě, co přináší tato opatření samotné organizaci.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis is dealing with topic of age managament on organization level. It is a case study whose target is to explore how is the strategy of age management applied in organisation. It describes which actions of age management the organisation applies in practice, which philosophy leads the realisation and development of strategy of age management and how useful are these actions for the organisation and how useful are they for single eployees who are most connected with these actions. The target is to explore this topic as properly as possible in terms of one organization. In theoretical part of my thesis, I concentrate on four main topics. In first of them, I describe demographic bases of age management, in second one I am dealing with definitions of age management and its importance. The third chapter brings information about strategies of age management, actions of it and also examples of good using in surrounding of Czech republic and abroad. In the last chapture of theoretical work, I’m dealing with the situation on labour market and which characteristics are usually arrogated to single generations here. In empirical part of my thesis I bring up the description of methodological approach of investigative enquiry and meet readers with their particular results. My aim was to realize how is the strategy of age management applied in practice, what the action of age management brings to employees and, last but not least, what this action brings to the organisation.
