Smyslem předkládané diplomové práce s názvem Cizinec jako zdroj poznání aneb dobrovolná migrace do ČR je charakterizovat proces mezinárodní migrace. Zjistit motivy cizinců k příjezdu do ČR a názor cizinců na českou kulturu. Dále pak odhalit způsob vyrovnávání se cizinců s kulturními odlišnostmi. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a výzkumnou.
