Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the election to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic which took place in october 2021. This thesis is focused on voters from Ústecký region and Středočeský region. The aim of this thesis is to find out what is the voter´s behavior and how it affects election and voter´s final decision. Another aim is to find out what is the most important factor for voters during these elections. The theoretical part explains what is issue salience, issue ownership and it´s impact on voter´s, parties and their strategies. The practical part is divided into two parts. First part is devoted to research carried out in the questionnaire survey whose aim is to find out the most important factor for voters and how voters behave during these elections. Second part is focused on election programme of relevant parties. These programmes are analysed through MARPOR/CMP. Then these parties are placed on RILE scale according to the data from the analysis.
