Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Čépa se skládá ze dvou částí – DVD (které je praktickým výstupem této práce) a teoretické části. Ústředním tématem a výstupem byla snaha portrétovat Vladimíra Čepka, dramaturga a uměleckého šéfa v jeho přirozeném divadelním prostředí, na jeho domovské scéně v Činoherním studiu v Ústí nad Labem. Aby dokument nebyl pouhým odrazem jeho osobnosti, aby byl barevnější a zajímavější, rozhodla jsem se do portrétu zakomponovat i proces zkoušení divadelní hry – od první čtené zkoušky, přes zkoušku na jevišti až po generálku. Toto téma dokumentu má poodhalit zákulisí divadla, má odtajnit proces, při němž divadelní hra za pomoci herců, režisérky a dramaturgů vzniká. Vladimír Čepek je hlavní postavou dokumentu a podtémata, o kterých hovoří, jsou historie Činoherního studia, Vladimírova cesta k divadlu, jeho studia a sny. Textová část práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První se zabývá Vladimírem, divadelní dramaturgií, hrou Jak jsem se učila řídit a její autorkou Paulou Vogel. Druhá popisuje preprodukci, produkci a postprodukci filmu. Třetí se zabývá etickým aspektem dokumentárního filmu, otázkou kvalit dokumentárního tvůrce, vztahem tvůrce s portrétovaným. Dále se ve své práci zabývám autenticitou v dokumentární tvorbě a taktéž se věnuji divadelnímu portrétu jako žánru.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis called „Čépa“ reflects the process of creating a documentary film (portrait). It consists of two parts – a DVD (which is the main output of this diploma thesis) and a text part. The main topic of this documentary film is a portrait of Vladimír Čepek, the dramaturgist of Činoherní studio in Ústí nad Labem, who is an interesting person of the rising generation on the Czech theater scene. Simultaneously I examine a process introducing a play called How I Learned To Drive by Paula Vogel. This part offers an insight into, how it works in the theatre, what is behind the process introducing a play in a theater. I look at the film from different points of view – these can be devided into three chapters from the point of view of the examinig of the play or we can divide it from perspective of Vladimir´s confession. Vladimír is talking about his work, history of ČS in Ústí nad Labem, his actor´s chances, his studies, his dreams etc. The filming of this film took three days. The thesis is divided into three parts – the first part focuses on Vladimir, his profession, ČS, the play How I Learned To Drive and Paula Vogel; the second part describes preproduction, production and postproduction phase of my documentary; the third part focuses on ethics of documentary production, a documentary film author, authenticity of the documentary film and theater documentary films in the Czech republic.
