The options for the development of communication individuals with multiple disabilities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou klíčových faktorů pro rozvoj komunikační kompetence u osob s kombinovaným postižením. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se skládá ze dvou kapitol. První kapitola popisuje jednotlivá postižení a jejich vliv na narušení komunikační schopnosti. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na některé techniky alternativní a augmentativní komunikace. Třetí kapitola, praktická část bakalářské práce, je tvořena kvalitativním výzkumným šetřením. Výzkum byl realizován prostřednictvím dvou případových studií. Ke sběru dat byly použity výzkumné techniky: obsahová analýza medicínských a školních dokumentů, individuální rozhovory a aktivní pozorování. Na základě retrospektivní deskripce případových studií byla navržena konkrétní opatření pro rozvoj komunikační dovednosti obou sledovaných chlapců s kombinovaným postižením.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of key factors for development of communication competence for persons with multiple disabilities. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of two chapters. The first chapter describes the various disabilities and their influence on impairing of communication ability. The second chapter focuses on some of the techniques of alternative and augmentative communication. The third chapter, the practical part of the thesis, is composed of a qualitative research investigation. The research was conducted through two case studies. For data collection were used research techniques: content analysis of medical and school documents, individual interviews and active observation. Based on the description of retrospective case studies specific measures were proposed to develop communication skills of both monitored boys with multiple disabilities.
