Prerequisites for the Development of Tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je analýza předpokladů cestovního ruchu v Bosně a Hercegovině a návrh produktů cestovním kancelářím pro tuto destinaci. Na základě zjištěných dat jsou vytvořené náměty, které mohou posloužit jako inspirace pro české cestovní kanceláře za účelem rozšíření jejich stávající nabídky zájezdů do Bosny a Hercegoviny. V teoretické části práce je vymezen pojem cestovní ruch a členění klasifikace dělící se na druhy a formy. Teoretická část též vysvětluje chápání pojmů destinace cestovního ruchu, SWOT analýza, PEST analýza a především představuje základní vymezení předpokladů pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu v destinaci. Praktická část se zabývá výhradně hodnocením předpokladů pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu v Bosně a Hercegovině. V práci je zkoumán příjezdový cestovní ruch a analýza nabídky zájezdů do této země českými cestovními kancelářemi. Následně je provedena PEST a SWOT analýza. Výsledkem jsou náměty vhodné pro tvorbu produktů.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to analyse the tourism prerequisites in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to propose products to travel agencies for this destination. On the basis of the identified data, suggestions are made that can serve as an inspiration for Czech travel agencies in order to expand their existing offer of tours to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of tourism and the classification into types and forms. The theoretical part also explains the understanding of the concepts of tourism destination, SWOT analysis, PEST analysis and above all presents the basic definition of the prerequisites for the development of tourism in the destination. The practical part deals exclusively with the assessment of the preconditions for tourism development in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The thesis examines inbound tourism and the analysis of the supply of tours to this country by Czech travel agencies. Subsequently, a PEST and SWOT analysis is performed. As a result, suggestions suitable for product development are presented.
