Pharmacological medication of diabetes mellitus

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována problematice diabetes mellitus a onemocněním, která s ním souvisejí. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část výzkumnou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na onemocnění diabetes mellitus, klinické projevy, diagnostiku, komplikace, farmakologickou a nefarmakologickou léčbu. Také jsou zde zahrnuta onemocnění jako je obezita a metabolický syndrom, která se velkou měrou podílejí na vzniku diabetes mellitus. Výzkumná část zkoumá podíl výskytu onemocnění v rodině na vzniku metabolického syndromu, dále léčbu diabetes mellitus, výskyt jeho komplikací a fyzickou aktivitu u diabetiků. Výzkum je proveden formou nestandardizovaného dotazníku.

Abstract:

This thesis is devoted to problems of diabetes mellitus and diseases that are associated with it. It (The thesis) is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is focused on diabetes mellitus illness, clinical manifestation, diagnostics, complication, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment. Also included are diseases such as obesity and metabolic syndrome, which are largely involved in the development of diabetes mellitus. The research part examines the proportion of disease in the family for the metabolic syndrome, as well as treatment of diabetes mellitus, the incidence of complications and physical activity in diabetics. The research is conducted through non-standardized questionnaire.
